As many have found out by now, Kanye West released his new single “New Slaves” in cities all over the world by projecting himself onto buildings. The CBO of eevzdrop, Chachi Sabate, and I were lucky enough to find two of the showings in Chicago last night. The first in Millennium Park on the Crown Fountain and the second across from the Intercontinental Hotel projected onto the Hugo Boss on Michigan Ave.
More interesting than the innovative release, were the lyrics to his song. Kanye is definitely shedding his lime-light onto some big issues. Racism, conspiracies, the DEA and CCA. This new album is rumored to be quite dark and it should come as no surprise that it might also include some jaw-dropping bars, we’re excited to find out. The release for “I am a God” is believed to be June 18.

The End of an Era!
Here are some blurry photos from last nights festivities as we enjoyed the last “Weekend Wednesday” at Empire Liquors. The bar is sadly closing, so the eevzdrop team and friends gathered together for one more hurrah.
We sang, we drank, we danced, we drank some more, and now it’s over.
Thank you Empire for the good times!

Anonymous asked: Is there a way to save the audio files that are recorded for the future- separate from the eevzdrop app or website? For instance, I started kid interviews with my children and I like to email them photos and notes to their for them to look through one day. Thought it would be cool for them to be able to hear the eevzdrops that I record of them. I copied the url and emailed that to them, but it may not be around in 15 years when they finally listen to it. Just a thought/idea!

Yes there is! And if you have any more questions, just refer to our FAQ page for help.
